The 20th annual Southern Lights Stroll & 5K took place on November 20, 2022. Stroll participants were the first to see this year’s light displays at the Kentucky Horse Park while they either ran in the 5K or took a leisurely walk. At the conclusion of the route, guests were welcomed into the Holiday Village where Country Boy Brewing, Tablow Roasting Co., a variety of food vendors, children’s activities and live music by The Ranahans awaited.

The Southern Lights Holiday Festival, presented by Friends of Coal had a stellar opening weekend on Nov. 25, greeting families from across the Bluegrass. Since its inception 29 years ago, Southern Lights has raised nearly $5 million dollars to benefit the Kentucky Horse Park and is named one of Kentucky’s Top 10 Winter/Holiday Festivals and Events by Kentucky Travel and Tourism.

Southern Lights welcomes you and your family through December 31 (Closed Christmas day).
