Halloween Campout

One of the most colorful areas of the Kentucky Horse Park every fall is the Park’s Campground. Not only are the trees full of color, but the Campground sites are festively decorated for Halloween. The Halloween Campout provides festive activities for the whole family culminating with the awards presentation.

Awards were presented for “Best Costume”, “Best Decorated Campout Site”, and “Best Carved Pumpkin”. A Halloween Parade was also held featuring members of the Lexington Fire & Police Departments, members of the 2020 KHP Mustang Troop, the Parade of Breeds, Horse Drawn Tours and the KHP Halloween golfcart brigade.

The Kentucky Horse Park Foundation was thrilled to support this annual event by providing candy for the Halloween Parade and sponsoring the donut breakfast.
