KHP Campground

Set amidst the rolling hills of the Bluegrass lies one of America's finest resort campgrounds - the Kentucky Horse Park Campground.  With over 260 spacious sites among groves of trees to more rustic sites offering an incomparable bluegrass experience, the campground has become a favorite destination for travelers from around North America and the local community alike.  A full service facility, the KHP campground has many extras for your comfort including a grocery store/gift shop and two bathhouses with modern conveniences. Visitors love to take advantage of our tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, cool off in our junior Olympic-size swimming pool, and participate in special events like the Festival of the Bluegrass and the hugely popular Halloween Campout.  Green initiatives, from the pool’s Dolphin Ozonate System to solar-powered water heaters enable the campground to respect our ecosystem.
